This is a great first for me, or almost! First of all, I would like to thank you Kirstie Taylor, thanks to whom I was able to discover Substack.
If you haven't met her yet, Kirstie is a talented writer that I've had the opportunity to publish several times on Medium. And then, she publishes her own newsletter here.
Alright, I invite you to take a look at my About page, where I explain why you might be interested in this newsletter.
To resume, I will talk to you here - I'm not sure yet how fast - about writing, reading, life, love, relationships, the evolution of the world, and everything that crosses my mind on a daily basis. And you know, it's sometimes a hell of a mess!
In a little while, once we start to have more people around here, I will start with paid subscribers - people who sign up will have access to more content, such as free access to certain stories published on my publication and normally reserved for subscribers, tips for living a crazy adventure as a reader and writer on Medium, how to develop your audience as a writer, more conversations, and my eternal gratitude.
Don't make fun of me, I got the idea for this newsletter when I took my shower this morning. Yeah, water and me is quite a story! It is very often in the shower or when I am on my surfboard in the ocean that ideas come to me. Who knows why!
Inspiration comes to me when I come into contact with water. So sometimes I take three showers a day! I'm kidding.
Well, I'm not going to write you a novel for this first letter. There are writers waiting for me to publish them and I'm going to enjoy the sun a little bit.
I'm sorry, I didn't tell you. I live in France, near Paris, but in the countryside. I prefer the smell of the fields to the smell of the city. And then, hearing the tawny owl sing on the way home is priceless.
Thank you for reading me, and see you soon!
